This is the Servo Mount Tungsten Weight Hanger “SMWH” designed for the SCX24.
It is a weight hanger that allows you to mount tungsten weights—twice as dense as brass—under the servo.
Compared to using a brass servo, this setup allows the weight to be placed even lower, achieving a more effective low center of gravity.
By changing the weight you install, you can fine-tune the weight bias.
It supports weights up to 8.6 mm in diameter.
When using the optional tungsten weight, you can add 22.1 g of mass.
Installation is done by fastening it together with the servo.
Fitment has been confirmed on the AXIAL SCX24 stock axle and the MEUS RACING ISOKINETIC AXLE (metal version).
When installing on the nylon ISOKINETIC AXLE, small modification to the axle is required.
For proper weight positioning, we recommend using an adjustable servo mount (such as from MEUS RACING or INJORA).
For attaching the tungsten weight, we recommend using Shoe Goo or E6000.
